Originally from Rhode Island, USA, Bobbie is a classically trained singer who has performed widely in the USA, the UK and Ireland, building up a loyal following for her distinctive singing style.
Myself and Greg just wanted to thank Bobbie so much for the beautiful music she and Craig performed at the church for our wedding. Bobbie sounded absolutely amazing! Everyone commented afterwards saying how beautiful her voice was. We were absolutely thrilled with how it all sounded and cannot thank her enough. The ceremony was so relaxed and the beautiful music they both played just added to the whole feel.

After we had booked our civil ceremony in Rahine House Hotel, Clonmel, on New Years Eve 2015, we started looking into music for the ceremony. We listened to a number of different singers and eventually picked Bobbie after hearing some of her work online.
We were very impressed and contacted her immediately. She was more than willing to learn songs that were not in her existing repertoire and not only that, we were particularly awkward as we even changed lyrics to make the songs more personal to us! The fact that she was willing to be so flexible meant a lot to us as a couple. She, and her beautiful voice, made our wedding ceremony extra special.
Thank you Bobbie!

We had a small wedding of 47 guests. Bobbie made it so special and even more intimate. She sang through our ceremony and even the hardest of the guests had a tear in their eye. She continued during the drinks reception and people even started to dance (including us). Our only regret is that we didn’t book her for after the meal too.
She is a true professional with a beautiful voice and lovely Doc Martins???? We would highly recommend her for any occasion. Her song list is immense, from Nina Simone to Katie Perry and everything in between. It took us hours to pick three songs for our ceremony!!! What more can we say? She is fantastic.

Bobbie performed during our recent wedding’s cocktail hour, and really elevated the event! She did a rendition of the father of the bride’s favorite song that was excellent, and we got lots of compliments from guest

Bobbie, Carle and Beto played for us at an outdoor summer lunch party at the lovely Clonacody House, Tipperary June 2018. The trio added enormously to the atmosphere and fun of the day. In fact their wonderful, easy jazz was a highlight of the party! I highly recommend them! Marion.

Harvey and I got married on New Year’s Eve, 2018, at the Lyrath Estate. It was a gorgeous setting. We had our ceremony, reception and our party in the rooms at the front of the hotel, so it was an intimate occasion for all. We didn’t really know what kind of music we wanted but we were asking around a lot. Luckily enough, we bumped into a lady who had gotten married at the Lyrath the year before and she also had a small group of guests. She told me very enthusiastically about the lady who provided her entertainment. She made her sound so good that I had to look this girl up, and sure enough it was the one and only Bobbie Carey from Thomastown. We had heard about her talent before. As we were very close to our wedding date, I was very nervous about booking her, as I thought she would have been totally booked up, especially New Year’s Eve. She checked her diary, and Bingo, Bobbie was available to sing at our wedding. We were over the moon! We went to check her out at Langton’s and she got our thumbs up for sure. What a voice this girl has, blues, rock, you name it, she could sing it! Dealing with Bobbie was like dealing with an old friend. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any party, she is a legend! Best wishes for her and her band in the future xxx

I can’t say enough positive things about Bobbie Carey, she could not have been more professional, helpful and flexible on our big day. We got married in a church and wanted a singer and guitarist who should sing a mix on contemporary and religious songs and Bobbie was so perfect for that.
She met us a couple of weeks before the wedding and sent us lists of songs other couples had chosen and where in the ceremony there would usually be music, this was so helpful as we were so busy at the time it really took the stress out of it. We chose a lot of songs that she had to learn from scratch and she could not have been more positive and accommodation about this. My cousin was also singing a song at the church and even though I had my wires crossed on what song she actually wanted to sing, Bobbie sorted it out on the day without even having to contact me and my cousin loved Bobbie for it! She also arrived around 2 hours before the ceremony to set up and I think this shows how professional she really is.
We also asked Bobbie to sing in the library at our reception. She sang jazz songs and accompanied herself of the keyboard and I got so many compliments about it on and after the day, people really enjoyed stand she looked and sounded like an absolute star. Bobbie really fitted in well to our relaxed wedding day and I would highly recommend her to anyone planning their own wedding.

When I asked Bobbie to perform for my drinks reception and with “The Party Girls” for the post dinner dancing, I had one request, that she sing “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” for our first dance. Well, Bobbie sang it so beautifully, it really made our day!
Both the music for the drinks reception and “The Party Girls” keeping the party going with soul, jazz and Motown was perfect. All of our guests loved the music, the dance floor was full and we hated to see them go! Thank you Bobbie!

From start to finish no request was too big, Bobbie tailored our ceremony music to what we wanted and how we wanted it to be sung, she was very accommodating on the run up to our wedding, replying to e-mails and keeping in touch with us, and on the day we were delighted with the music.
We had many guests compliment us on Bobbie singing at both the ceremony and drinks reception, we highly recommend her.

One of the most talented vocalists currently working in Ireland, she moved effortlessly through blues, soul, folk and jazz. Her voice, reminiscent of both Aretha Franklin and Eva Cassady, is still distinctively her own.
